Finding new ways to Up-Cycle Textiles
My first love of recycling is sweaters, with so many beautiful, funky & fabulous sweaters. Sometimes a stain or hole will keep a sweater from being worn again. Or maybe that 90’s style just shouldn’t come back in fashion.
But I can give it a new life, and keep it out of the landfill. My thrift store sweaters can live their new life as a unique pillow background, handsewn custom applique, gnome hat & body, tote bag, zip pouch……and so much more!
I’m slowly expanding my up-cycling endeavors into the world of graphic t-shirts, flannel shirts, ties, dress shirts, linens and so much more.
Any piece of clothing is up for grabs to be cut up and re-imagined into something fabulous.
