Who doesn’t have a plastic bin of old t-shirts in their storage room that they just can’t part with? They could be from youth activities, high school or college. Or maybe it’s a bin of your child’s baby clothes. There are so many memories in each and every item, but you can’t enjoy them went they are tucked away in a storage bin.

That’s why Tiger Lily Designs specializes in creating a new life for these treasured  memories. Although the idea of a t-shirt quilt isn’t new, Tiger Lily merges the love of traditional heirloom quilts with the t-shirt memories.

A Tiger Lily Designs custom t-shirt quilt is unique because:

• It incorporates your cherished t-shirt collection that is full of memories.
• Handpicked, quality quilt fabrics coordinate and compliment the collection.
• Each shirt is double framed, like a double mat picture frame, with a thin white fabric border, then a thicker coordinating accent fabric.

A Tiger Lily Designs quilt goes beyond the typical tic tac toe grid pattern. Rather than having all the t-shirt “blocks” be the same size, I let the graphic dictate the size of the t-shirt block. This way, I can play Tetris with your collection maximizing the space and creating a unique one-of-a-kind keepsake quilt.

To continue with the quilt feel, accent fabrics strips are added. Again, custom is the key here — sides only, top and bottom only, or all four sides. Whatever style speaks more to you. All of these fabrics tie the quilt together to give it a finished look.
